  2-09-2019   Van took me here to try out a different hot dog establishment.
  Van advised me this place has been around since her early childhood.  Not too many small business last this long over time.  There was so much old memorabilia of the past
  
  I was anxious to try out one of the big dogs with a little disappointment that it took 2 hot dogs to make one foot long dog.  As usual we started out with a drink and great conversation.  Over all Im pretty sure I will be back again as the hot dogs weren't too bad.

  Weiner Works is a long time establishment, it's been around in the same spot for over 30 years.  That is a testament to their food and service. They serve up good ole fashion tasting quality hot dogs, burgers, and fries.
  
  I've been here a few times. Last weekend, I was in the area with hubs. So off we went for lunch. According to him and other Yelpers, the place is time warped.... same wall decor, tables, chairs, and most importantly... same tasty hot dogs. Don't get me wrong, the dining area was clean. Just aged a bit. It's a hole in the wall. It ain't a hip or trendy joint.
  
  They serve beer steamed hot dogs. Hot dogs have a casing that has a nice snap when you bit into it. The buns are steamed also. Nice. The fries are fresh cut from a real potato. They also serve up burgers. I'm a creature of habit and stick to the hot dogs.
  
  On my last visit, I had a #4 - 7 inch dog served with gulden brown mustard, onions, tomatoes, and relish. $6.65. Yum! Also I shared a small chili cheese & onion fries $7.69. But I asked for the chili, cheese, and onions in a cup. The small fries was a massive serving size.  Fresh cut fries. Taste like a real potato. Food came out quick and hot.

  My dad and I are very big fans of the food my favorite item is the chili cheese fries they make the French fries with homemade potatoes you can share a large size because they give so much food they are delicious my dad is a fan if the hamburgers here the staff is very friendly very clean establishment very clean atmosphere very clean restrooms very clean parking lots I highly recommend trying this if you have a love for chili cheese fries like I do or if you want a great hamburger than this is the place to go to get a great bite to eat they are open for lunch and for dinner I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more great service and more great delicious food and more great customer service very great service I can't wait to get my next order of chili cheese fries delicious food

  A solid 3. I liked the setting and atmosphere, as it is a nice, cozy fit.
  
  I ordered a chili dog, small fries, and a large soda.....for $15??? It turns out, I should have ordered the mini fries, as the small fries were about $6 and nowhere near a small size (Starbucks grande group think, perhaps?). They were ok...nothing special. The chili dog tasted great, but it was so small compared to the gigantic bun it was served in. Still tasty, but waaaayyy too much bread. Sodas are not free refills, so another (personal) red pen moment against them.
  
  For me, not rushing back in a hurry, but if friends wanted to go, I'd be ok to join them

  I can't speak to the hot dogs but this place cooks up some of the best burgers in town! I'm so happy that Weiner Works has been a staple for so long now and they still continue to provide great food, sports on tv, cheap beer and friendly people.
